The Majesty of God on Display

Who is this royal one above
That He should shower me with His love?
(Zeph 3:17)
Who is this one who sits in grandeur
That He should notice one so meager?
(Psalm 8:3-9)
Who is this one so regal
That He gives strength like an eagle?
(Is. 40:31)
Who is this one so sovereign
That He opens His arms to me as I run?
(Luke 15:11)
Who is this one enthroned in glory
That He calms my every worry?
(Phil 4:4-9)
He is the God of the universe
The creator and sustainer of all things
The healer and reverser of the curse
His praise from all creation rings
(Col 1:15-17; Gal 3:10-14; Psalm 148)
Who is this one so great
That at His name the mountains quake?
(Nahum 1:5)
Who is this one with so great a name
That every knee will bow in shame?
(Phil 2:10-11)
Who is this one with such authority
The even nature obeys His voice immediately?
(Mark 4:35-41)
Who is this one who rages like a fire
Cleansing all in His path from muck and mire?
(Heb. 12:29)
Who is this one so holy and pure
That He would provide His only son as the cure?
(1 Peter 1:15-16; John 3:16)
He is God everlasting and eternal
Who offers love divine and unconditional
He is a warrior might and strong
Redeeming those whom he loves for eternity long
(John 8:58; Romans 5:6-8; Zeph. 3:17; John 10:28-29)
He is the king and gentle shepherd
With the strength and passion of a leopard
He is the lord of lords and king of kings
And for all eternity, His praises will ring
(John 10:14-15; Rev. 17:14)
